Rajai Shahr Prison

Rajai Shahr Prison is the plainest, least decorated way to name the same kind of institution, and by our assessment, that honesty is about all it has to offer. With no checked facts in hand, the safe reading is simply that this is a prison — a closed, controlled place tied to incarceration rather than any civilian service. In practice, a name like this appears in prison reporting and public discussion about detention conditions, where the label matters because it points straight to the institution. The strength is clarity, not charm. The limit is just as clear: prisons are designed around restriction, so there is nothing welcoming to find there. It sits squarely in the category of serious detention facilities, and the name does not pretend otherwise.
