Ozon

Ozon is the Russian marketplace that also behaves a bit like a logistics company, which is why shoppers and sellers both end up inside it. By our assessment, its strongest point is the breadth of goods alongside delivery and pickup infrastructure, so the platform is not just a catalog but a whole buying-and-fulfilment system. The downside is familiar to anyone who uses a large marketplace: choice can be noisy, sellers vary, and the experience depends a lot on who is actually fulfilling the order. In practice Ozon feels busy, layered, and very app-led, with search, promotions, reviews, and delivery status all competing for attention. It sits near Wildberries in the Russian e-commerce market, but with a slightly different mix of marketplace and logistics. People who want one place for a lot of categories may find it handy; people who want a smaller, calmer shop will probably not. The company is now a standard part of Russian online retail.
