Al-Jihad

Al-Jihad is a stark, ideologically loaded company name, and it leaves almost everything except the stance to the imagination. By our assessment, its one real strength is recognition: the name is short, hard-edged, and difficult to confuse with anything neutral. The trade-off is that it gives almost no practical clue about what the company does, so it is weak as a business identifier in ordinary settings. In practice, the effect is more categorical than descriptive, which puts it far from mainstream brands. It works as a label for a position, not as a guide to a service, and that is a very narrow kind of usefulness. The score reflects that narrowness rather than any claim about a product or operation.
