Pester

Pester is a harassment-and-stealth style game name that points to nuisance, pressure, and small-scale disruption rather than power fantasy. By our assessment, that kind of setup can be effective when a game wants awkwardness and mischief to be the point, because it makes the player work through annoyance instead of clean domination. The limit is obvious: if the design leans too hard on one joke or one repeated trick, the novelty can drain quickly. In practice this kind of game tends to run on timing, repetition, and a little tolerance for being annoying on purpose. It sits far from polished action or broad adventure design, and the main question is whether the premise stays funny long enough to carry the loop. Pester is for people who like odd little systems built around disturbance, not for anyone looking for grandeur.
