Dark Fracture: Prologue leans on mood first, which is exactly what a horror prologue should do. By our assessment, the strongest thing here is the disturbed first-person atmosphere: cramped spaces, ugly industrial surfaces, and the sense that the game wants attention to sound and unease rather than action. The limit is that a prologue can only sketch the larger game, so it has to rely on tension and setup instead of a full arc. In practice it feels like a short, concentrated sample of a psychological horror project, not a complete meal. It sits with other playable horror previews and atmospheric first-person scares more than with combat-heavy horror games.
