Intervalltraining

Intervalltraining is the app people open when they want structured work-rest timing instead of improvising their workouts. It is plainly for interval training, so the useful part is the timer logic: fixed rounds, recoveries, and a clear pace to follow. By our assessment, that kind of structure is the real strength, because it removes counting in your head and keeps sessions tidy. The downside is that it only helps if the person already wants interval work; it does not create a training plan or make exercise interesting on its own. In practice it feels like a stopwatch with a workout mindset, which is enough for many routines and completely boring for anyone looking for variety. Intervalltraining sits close to the basic timer apps of fitness, where simplicity is the point.
