The Wrong Mans

The Wrong Mans is a comic crime caper built for people who like awkward men stumbling into serious trouble. By our assessment, its best move is the way it lets a small, stupid mistake keep snowballing into a bigger mess, so the humor comes from panic rather than punchlines. The downside is that the setup lives on a narrow trick, and once the premise is clear the tension matters more than surprise. It plays like a TV comedy that borrows the shape of a thriller, which gives it a sharper edge than a plain sitcom. If that mix of deadpan and trouble sounds appealing, it has a neat groove; if not, the whole game is in that one idea.
