The Millionaire Matchmaker

The Millionaire Matchmaker is a dating-reality format built around a very specific social job: pairing wealthy clients with dates and turning matchmaking into television. By our assessment, that gives it an easy-to-grasp premise and a clear hook, especially when the show leans into the awkwardness of introductions and the polished world around them. The downside is that the idea does most of the work; once you know the setup, the repetition can be obvious, and the whole thing depends on how engaging the personalities are. In practice it sits somewhere between reality TV and a business-of-romance show, more about format than depth. It is for viewers who like matchmaking as a concept and do not mind the same premise being stretched across episodes. The Millionaire Matchmaker is defined by that premise, not by much room beyond it.
