The Crazy Ones

The Crazy Ones is a workplace comedy built around an advertising agency, so its main job is to turn office chaos and pitch-room panic into jokes. By our assessment, that setup gives it a ready-made stream of quips and a chance to play off the fast, performative world of ad people. The limit is that the whole thing leans hard on banter and familiar sitcom rhythm, so it can feel more clever in bursts than deep over time. In practice it is light, brisk, and very much a dialogue show. Against broader workplace comedies it sits closer to glossy network sitcom territory than to anything rough or observational. The Crazy Ones works best when the writing keeps the ad-world details in view and does not just fall back on generic office noise.
