Heroes Unmasked

Heroes Unmasked is the kind of companion series that speaks to viewers who want the behind-the-scenes layer of a genre hit, not a drama of its own. By our assessment, its value is in the extra context: interviews, production talk, and the fan-facing sense of how a science-fiction show is put together. The limit is built in, though, because a companion piece rarely has much shape unless you already care about the main series it is attached to.
