Exes & Ohs

Exes & Ohs is a relationship comedy-drama for viewers who want dating, breakups, and queer social circles handled as character material rather than as a lecture. By our assessment, its appeal is in the easy banter and the everyday mess of trying to date people you already know too well. The limit is that it is more conversation-driven than plot-heavy, so the energy depends a lot on whether the characters’ talk lands for you. In practice it feels intimate, messy, and small-scale, with the ensemble doing most of the work. Compared with sharper queer comedies, it is gentler and less polished, but also more relaxed. Exes & Ohs sits closer to a relationship dramedy than to a high-concept sitcom, and that is exactly where it stays.
