Almost Heroes

Almost Heroes sounds like a comedy title, and the show’s appeal would naturally sit with viewers who want quick jokes and a loose, familiar TV rhythm rather than anything ambitious. By our assessment, its main strength is that kind of simple comic promise: it is easy to picture as a straightforward half-hour piece. The problem is that a title and a category tell very little here, so the item itself feels thin and hard to judge beyond that broad lane. In practice, almost nothing can be said with confidence except that it belongs to the Comedy shelf and seems aimed at light episodic viewing.
