Ali G: Rezurection

Ali G: Rezurection is built for people who already know the Ali G persona and want more of that mock-interview, character-driven comedy. By our assessment, the best part is the blunt contrast between the pose and the people being questioned, because that is where the awkwardness turns funny. The limit is plain: once the joke stops surprising you, it leans hard on repetition, and the whole format depends on the same comic mask carrying a lot of weight. In practice it is more about attitude, timing, and social embarrassment than about plot. Compared with broader sketch comedy, it is narrower and more dependent on one invented voice. Ali G: Rezurection works as a niche comedy return, not as a show that offers much beyond its central persona.
