midex Unicorn Crystal Mud is another tactile novelty, this time dressed up with unicorn styling for anyone who wants the same stretchy, squishy play pattern in a more decorative package. By our assessment, the strength is the visual hook: the crystal-mud idea makes the slime category feel a little more giftable and themed. The weakness is the same one most of these products have, because the fun depends on texture and freshness, and once it dries or gets messy it stops being charming very quickly. In practice it is a hands-on toy more than a lasting object, and the interest is mostly in opening, stretching, and handling it. It sits beside other novelty slimes rather than classic toys, and the unicorn label mainly changes the look, not the job.
