Cacolac pack de 8 bouteilles is the family-style multipack for people who already know the French chocolate milk and want several bottles at once. By our assessment, the appeal is simple: it is a ready supply of a familiar sweet dairy drink, easy to chill, pour and keep in the fridge for a crowd or for repeated use. The downside is the obvious one for chocolate milk in bottles, because it is sweet, not especially subtle, and the pack format makes most sense when you actually go through it. In practice it is a convenience purchase rather than a product with surprises, and that is part of its charm. It sits with other multipacks of drinks, below a single-bottle treat in ceremony but above it in practicality. The name says what it is, the 8 is just part of that name, and the format does the work.
