Wedze Airbag 30 backpack

Wedze Airbag 30 backpack is built for ski touring and freeride riders who want avalanche-airbag protection in the pack itself. By our assessment, its main strength is obvious: the airbag system adds a serious safety layer without turning the bag into something bulky and fragile-looking. The trade-off is also part of the design, because this is more specialised and more fussy than an ordinary ski pack, with cartridges, deployment hardware and extra checks to think about. In practice it is a technical backpack first and a comfort item second, so it asks for familiarity and regular care. It sits well above a standard daypack and alongside other avalanche-airbag packs rather than general outdoor bags. For people who ski in terrain where avalanche gear matters, it is the right kind of tool; for a casual resort skier, it is overbuilt and unnecessary.
