VW Caddy, Caddy Maxi is a compact van line for people who need load space first and passenger comfort second. By our assessment, the appeal is the shape itself: a boxy, sensible Volkswagen that is easy to load, easy to use as a small tradesman's van or family hauler, and less awkward than a bigger commercial vehicle in town. The downside is obvious in daily life: it is still a van, so noise, ride feel and bulk are part of the deal. It sits between passenger car practicality and proper van utility, which is why so many people look at it as a compromise that actually works. The Maxi version points to the longer body, and the name keeps the job plain.
