Uppblåsbar strandboll is summer gear for beaches, pools, and backyard play, and that is exactly the point. By our assessment, it works because it is light, cheap to transport, and instantly understood by almost anyone who can catch or kick a ball. The limit is obvious: it is fragile by design, catches the wind, and does not give the same control or durability as a proper sports ball. In practice it is the sort of thing that turns up quickly, gets inflated in a minute, and then stays in play only as long as people are gentle with it. Compared with a volleyball or a football, it is closer to casual messing around than to any serious game. It suits easy group play and does not pretend to be tough equipment; one sharp object or rough surface changes the whole story.
