Unknown Pulling cracking animal sounds more like a toy or novelty item built around motion and noise than like something meant to sit quietly on a shelf. By our assessment, that gives it a narrow kind of appeal: it likely matters most to children or casual buyers who want a simple mechanical effect and a bit of silly fun. The drawback is that this sort of product can be repetitive fast, because once the pulling or cracking effect is understood, the surprise is gone. In practice, these items depend on the feel of the mechanism, the sturdiness of the parts, and whether the noise stays amusing instead of annoying. Unknown Pulling cracking animal sits closer to a gag toy than to a serious educational or collectible product. It is for brief play and a light laugh, and it does not try to be much more than that.
