Unknown Magnetic 2x2 Magic Cube is for the people who like a compact twisty puzzle with a magnetic feel in the turns. By our assessment, the magnets are the point: they can make layers snap into place more predictably than a loose, floppy cube. The trade-off is that a 2x2 has a much smaller solving problem than a standard cube, so the challenge runs out faster once the basics are familiar. In hand, these puzzles are about corner cutting, tension and how smooth the turn feels, not about fancy features. It sits in the beginner-friendly end of speedcubing toys, and the name signals a simple, no-nonsense cube rather than a novelty object.
