Two way alarm smart Bluetooth tracker is the kind of small locator people use to keep an eye on keys, bags, or other everyday objects. Its most concrete promise is the two-way alarm: it is meant both to help you find the tracker and to let the tracker help you find the phone, which is the whole point of this category. By our assessment, the trade-off is familiar to Bluetooth gadgets: they are handy at close range, but they are not a substitute for real GPS or anything that works far beyond the Bluetooth link. In practice, these devices live in an app, depend on pairing, and are only as useful as the battery and the connection allow. Compared with a simple key ring, it adds electronics and one more thing to charge; compared with a full GPS tracker, it is lighter and less ambitious. It suits everyday misplacement more than serious tracking, and that is where it makes sense. The tracker has to stay paired and powered, or the alarm part stops being much help.
