Travel Adaptor is the small, practical piece of kit people reach for when plugs do not match and a wall socket still has to do the job. By our assessment, it is good at turning one plug shape into another, and at being the one item that saves a phone charger, laptop brick, or shaver from being useless abroad. The trade-off is obvious: it does not make power cleaner or devices smarter, and some versions are awkwardly bulky once a few sockets and plug standards get involved. In practice it is a plain, forgettable object until the moment it matters, then it becomes the thing everyone checks twice before packing. It sits below a full travel converter and above improvising with the wrong plug, which is usually worse. The best version is the one that fits the destinations you actually use and leaves enough room around neighboring sockets.
