Tiger projector torch is the kind of small novelty light people buy for a child, a desk, or a toy-like gift rather than for serious lighting. By our assessment, its draw is the simple gimmick: a torch that throws an image instead of just a beam, which makes it more playful than a plain flashlight. The trade-off is obvious, because a projector head usually gives you less practical light and more fun than a normal torch would. In use these things are quick to grasp, a bit fiddly at the edges, and very dependent on batteries and the quality of the projection lens. It sits beside other pocket novelty lights and cheap themed torches, not beside a proper work light. The name suggests novelty first, usefulness second, and that is exactly how it should be read.
