Shirley May ACTION Four

Shirley May ACTION Four is the sort of budget aftershave people buy for a quick, masculine-smelling splash rather than for perfume depth. It usually wins on being straightforward and inexpensive in feel, with a loud, simple profile that gets the job done without much ceremony. By our assessment, it is limited by exactly that simplicity: there is little nuance, and the scent family can feel blunt if someone wants something polished or layered. In practice, this kind of product is more about an immediate freshening-up than about a distinctive personal scent, so it sits below proper eau de toilette and above the most disposable no-name bottles. People who want a cheap, no-fuss aromatic splash may find it enough, while anyone looking for elegance or long wear will probably move on quickly.
