Scratching protection film is the sort of product people use on screens, glossy panels, and other surfaces that pick up wear from keys, hands, or bag life. By our assessment, its best feature is plain and practical: it adds a sacrificial layer so the surface underneath stays cleaner and less marked. The trade-off is that film can be fussy to apply, can trap dust or bubbles, and may change the feel or look of the thing it covers. In use, it is a small maintenance job more than a dramatic upgrade, and results depend heavily on careful placement. Compared with a case or a hard cover, it protects the finish while staying lighter and less visible.
