Schleim

Schleim is a slime-style product, the sort of thing bought for hands-on squishing, stretching, and sensory play rather than for any serious task. By our assessment, that is also where it works best: it gives immediate texture, a bit of novelty, and the simple pleasure of something soft that changes shape under pressure. The downside is equally plain, because slime can get sticky, dirty, dry out, or leave residue, and it usually needs tidy storage if you want it to stay usable. In practice it is satisfying for a while, then becomes a small maintenance job. Compared with putty or modelling clay, it tends to be more playful and less structured, which is exactly why some people like it and others will not. Schleim is best for sensory play and short bursts of fidgeting, not for anyone who wants a clean desk companion.
