SOKANY Sandwich Maker is a small countertop appliance for making pressed toasties and quick hot sandwiches at home. By our assessment, its real strength is simplicity: bread in, filling in, lid down, and a sealed snack comes out with little fuss, which is why these machines stay popular in basic kitchens and student flats. The downside is the usual one for this category, because the plates are small and fixed to a single shape, so it will not handle thick sandwiches or much variety. In practice it is fast, a bit repetitive, and very much about convenience food rather than proper cooking. Compared with a pan or grill, it gives less freedom but less mess, and that is the whole bargain.
