Reflective hanger

Reflective hanger is a small visibility aid, usually the sort of thing clipped to a bag, bike, jacket, or school kit so it catches car headlights. By our assessment, its main virtue is plain and concrete: it adds a bit of reflected light without needing batteries or charging. The limit is equally plain, because it only works when light hits it at the right angle, and it is no substitute for proper active lights. In use it is one of those items you forget until night falls and a beam lands on it. Compared with LED clips or full reflective vests, it is simpler and less demanding, but also less visible at distance. Reflective hanger is a modest extra layer, not the whole solution.
