Rattle set

Rattle set is plainly for infants: a set of rattles meant to be shaken, grasped, and mouthed under adult supervision. By our assessment, that makes it a straightforward early-play product, good for simple sound-and-grip interaction rather than anything remotely educational in the grand sense. Its strength is the most basic one: a baby can make the noise happen with very little effort, which is often enough at that age. The limit is equally basic, because rattles are small, get dropped constantly, and need to be appropriate for the child’s age and stage. In practice the appeal is the repetition, not the novelty, and the whole thing lives or dies on material quality, size, and how easy it is to clean. It sits below activity gyms and above random household objects, which is exactly where a plain rattle set belongs.
