Nexigo 1080p LCD Projector PJ30 is a compact projector for people who want a basic big-screen picture at home without moving up to a full cinema setup. By our assessment, its real strength is the familiar 1080p class: enough detail for casual movies, shows, and presentations when the room is dimmed. The drawback is the usual projector bargain, because LCD models in this range are tied to light control and do not compete with a television in bright daylight. In practice it means some setup, a suitable wall or screen, and a viewing space that can be darkened. Compared with a TV, it gives size and flexibility rather than sharp brightness, and the 30 in the name is part of the model label, not a measure to read literally. It is best thought of as a modest home projector, not a high-end room-filling system.
