Meuble ROS lit escamotable URBAN is a wall bed, the kind of furniture people choose when a room has to become a bedroom at night and something else in the day. By our assessment, its real strength is space saving: the bed folds away so the floor opens back up, which matters in small apartments, guest rooms, and studio layouts. The trade-off is the hardware and the routine around it, because a Murphy-style bed asks for clearance, proper mounting, and a little daily handling. In use it feels more like a room mechanism than a loose piece of furniture, with hinges and a front panel doing the heavy lifting. Compared with a sofa bed, it usually gives a better mattress setup; compared with a fixed bed, it asks for more effort every time it goes up and down. The URBAN name points to that compact-city use, where the bed disappearing into the wall is the whole point.
