Mercedes-Benz Sprinter earns its place as a serious large van for delivery fleets, tradespeople, shuttles, and camper conversions. By our assessment, the big strength is the sheer range of body styles and wheelbase choices, plus the reputation for a spacious cargo area that can be set up for boxes, tools, passengers, or a full camper build. The downside is the usual one for this class: size, price, and running costs make it a commitment, and the driver has to live with a vehicle that is more about practicality than charm.
