Mercedes-Benz E-Class, S-Class, CLS, EQS covers the part of the market where comfort, long-distance cruising, and a polished cabin matter as much as the badge. These are executive and luxury cars, with the E-Class as the classic business sedan, the S-Class as the flagship comfort car, the CLS as the sleeker four-door coupe shape, and the EQS as the electric top-end choice. By our assessment, the strength is the usual Mercedes mix of ride quality, insulation, and a very serious interior, especially in the larger models. The downside is that this is still a heavy, expensive, tech-laden family of cars, so ownership is not light or simple. In practice they tend to feel calm, quiet, and built for covering miles rather than entertaining the driver every minute. They sit above mainstream saloons and below the sort of super-luxury cars that trade almost everything for status. Mercedes-Benz E-Class, S-Class, CLS, EQS is for people who want refinement first and sharp edges last.
