Mercedes-Benz Arocs, Zetros is for heavy work where the road turns into dirt, gravel, mud, or a job site, and where ordinary trucks would feel out of place. By our assessment, that is the point of these models: they are built as serious working vehicles with strong off-road intent, not as polished urban haulers. The downside is the usual one for this class, because capability brings size, weight, noise, and the sort of operating cost that goes with specialist machinery. In use they are about traction, ground clearance, and staying useful when conditions are rough, which is very different from the easy life of a city truck. Compared with standard road trucks, they sit at the tougher end of the spectrum; compared with military-heavy equipment, they remain commercial machines with a transport job. The name itself already signals that this is a working range, not a passenger one. For the right fleet, that is exactly the appeal.
