Manhattan Bluetooth Shower Speaker is the kind of gadget people buy for one narrow job: getting music or podcasts into the bathroom without worrying about splashes. By our assessment, its best quality is the obvious one for a shower speaker, namely the Bluetooth convenience in a wet room where a phone on the sink is not a great plan. The downside is equally obvious: small waterproof speakers usually trade sound weight and battery size for their compact shape and simple mounting, so they are more practical than impressive. In use, this is a clipped, grab-and-go object that lives on a shelf or suction cup and gets paired quickly. Manhattan Bluetooth Shower Speaker sits in the crowded middle of cheap portable audio, between tiny bathroom gadgets and more serious speakers. It makes sense for showers, kitchens, and travel bags, but not for anyone chasing full-room sound.
