JacTone Blusdeken

A fire blanket is meant to smother a small, contained fire by cutting off its oxygen, and JacTone Blusdeken appears to be a blanket in that category. Its appeal is simple: unlike an extinguisher, a blanket does not spray contents over the area and can be kept ready for a quick response to a small fire. By our assessment, it is a useful piece of household fire-safety equipment, but it is not a general answer to every fire. It cannot make a spreading fire safe to approach, and using one calls for following the product’s instructions and having a clear way to leave. The name alone gives no information about its dimensions, material, certification, storage case, or exact instructions, so those details cannot be judged here. Its value depends on being accessible and suitable for the small fires it is designed to cover.
