Hyundai IONIQ EV is an electric car for drivers who want a compact hatchback-style EV rather than a big crossover with a battery tucked inside. By our assessment, its real strength is the plain, efficient EV package: quiet running, no fuel stop, and the familiar low-friction feel people expect from an electric commuter.
