Reaching a ceiling, changing a bulb, or working above floor level is the sort of job an EXTOL Aluminum Multi-Purpose Ladder is meant to support. Aluminium keeps a ladder relatively light to move, while a multi-purpose design can be configured for different positions rather than serving only as a straight ladder. By our assessment, that flexibility is the main reason to consider this type over a basic step ladder, especially where storage space and varied household tasks matter. The trade-off is that adjustable joints and locking arrangements require careful setup before climbing. Ladder height, load limit, rung spacing, and surface stability are model-specific, and they should not be assumed from the name. It is also more equipment than a small step stool for quick indoor tasks. Each change of configuration calls for checking that the ladder is fully secured before use.
