EDMI Atlas Mk7CD Electricity Meters are the sort of utility meters that sit in switchrooms and service cupboards, quietly doing the unglamorous job of measuring consumption. By our assessment, that is exactly where they look strongest: they are built for the boring but essential work of metering, not for the user-facing polish of a consumer gadget. The obvious downside is that an electricity meter is not something anyone buys for delight; it is a piece of infrastructure, usually chosen for technical fit, installation rules, and compatibility. In practice, that means a device judged on reliability, readout clarity, and how well it disappears into the background once fitted. The Atlas Mk7CD line sits in the ordinary professional meter category rather than in a flashy smart-home space. The checked fact here is only that the 7 in Mk7CD is part of the catalogue name, and the rating reflects a solid, specialised product with a narrow job.
