DooDogs Kinder-Badeschlappen are children’s bath sandals made for wet floors, poolside changing rooms, and quick trips through showers or locker rooms. By our assessment, their real strength is grip and protection: they are meant to keep little feet off slippery surfaces and away from the usual grit of shared wet spaces. The trade-off is that they are not a shoe in the ordinary sense, so fit, strap comfort, and drainage matter more than looks. In practice, this kind of sandal is easy to slide on and off, gets dirty in the obvious places, and is simple to rinse and dry. It sits between slippers and swimwear, closer to practical footwear than to anything fashionable. If the child spends time around pools or public wash areas, this is a sensible sort of thing; for dry everyday wear, it is simply the wrong tool.
