Dodge Durango is a big three-row SUV for people who want a lot of cabin and a strong road presence in one box. By our assessment, it stands out most when hauling families, gear, and long trips without pretending to be small or delicate. That size is also the main compromise: parking, fuel use, and tight-city manners are the price of the space. In practice it is the kind of vehicle that feels built around bulk, seating, and straight-ahead usability rather than finesse. Against smaller crossovers it gives more body and more room; against trucks it is the softer, enclosed choice. Dodge Durango makes sense where a roomy, muscular SUV is the point, not where tidy efficiency is the goal.
