DiY Unicorn Terrarium Toy

DiY Unicorn Terrarium Toy trades on the appeal of a make-it-yourself decorative kit: part craft, part miniature display, with a unicorn theme for children who like filling and arranging small pieces. By our assessment, the good part is the hands-on assembly, because these kits give a tidy finished object without needing real gardening or complicated tools. The downside is equally built in: once the little scene is assembled, there is not much ongoing play, so it works better as a project than as a lasting toy. In practice it is the sort of thing that asks for patience, a flat table, and tolerance for glittery clutter while the pieces are being placed. It sits between a craft set and a toy, closer to a one-afternoon activity than to open-ended play. The name makes the promise very plainly, and the promise is modest rather than deep.
