DOBLE USB CAR ADAPTER

A double USB car adapter is one of those small bits of car kit that matters most when the phone, navigator, or passenger devices all want power at once. By our assessment, it is genuinely good at one simple job: turning a cigarette-lighter socket into two USB charging ports, often with enough convenience to keep a road trip from turning into a battery hunt. The trade-off is that this is still a car charger, so charging speed depends on the adapter’s output and on how the car’s socket is wired; cheap ones can feel flimsy and run hot. In practice it is a plain, no-nonsense object: plug it in, see the ports light up, and forget about it until something needs charging again. Compared with a single-port charger it is obviously more practical, but it is not the same as a fast multi-port hub or a built-in USB system in a newer car.
