Cot

Cot is one of those plain products whose usefulness is obvious the moment the setting calls for a simple sleeping surface. By our assessment, it does its best work as a portable bed for camps, guest rooms, emergency use, or other places where a full bed is awkward. The strength is straightforward: it folds, stores more easily than a bed frame, and gives a raised place to sleep instead of a mat on the floor. The trade-off is equally clear, because a cot is usually narrower and less cushioned than a regular bed, so long-term comfort is not its main promise. In practice it is about quick setup and modest comfort, not luxury. It sits between a mattress on the floor and a proper bed, and the frame does the carrying.
