City Car

City Car is a very plain name for the small-car idea: a compact vehicle meant for crowded streets, tight parking spots, and short hops across town. By our assessment, that kind of car is good at being easy to place and easy to live with in traffic, which is the whole point for many urban drivers. The trade-off is obvious too: a city car usually gives up cabin space, boot room, and long-trip comfort to stay small and light. In practice that means quick parking, simple manoeuvring, and a cabin that feels more practical than generous. It sits below larger hatchbacks and crossovers in room and road comfort, but above them in how little space it asks for. City Car makes sense when a person wants compact size first and everything else second, and it stops making much sense once passengers, luggage, or motorway miles become a regular part of life.
