Citroen C3, DS3

Small hatchbacks like the Citroen C3, DS3 are aimed at drivers who want a manageable car for city streets and everyday journeys. The C3 is the more comfort-minded, practical choice, while the DS3 is known for a more distinctive, style-led character. Both belong to a class where compact dimensions make parking and narrow roads less of a chore. The trade-off is limited room compared with a larger family car, especially when passengers and luggage both need space. Their appeal also depends on the particular model and equipment, so the shared name does not tell the whole story. By our assessment, this is a sensible pairing for people choosing between everyday practicality and a more individual-looking small car. Neither is meant to provide the space or long-distance ease of a larger vehicle.
