By our assessment, its strongest point is targeted muscle pounding, which can feel more direct than a foam roller when the goal is to work a tight spot quickly. The limit is equally direct: it is not a medical cure, and aggressive use on sore or injured tissue is the wrong way to treat it. In practice it is noise, vibration, changing attachments, and the need to move it slowly instead of pressing hard and hoping for the best.
