COB Rechargeable Keychain Light is a small keyring torch for people who want a pocket light without carrying a full-size flashlight. By our assessment, its best feature is the COB LED style, which usually means a broad, bright wash rather than a narrow beam, so it is handy for finding keys, a lock, or something dropped nearby. The obvious limit is battery size and output: a keychain light is not built for long jobs or for lighting a whole path. In use it is the sort of thing that lives on a bunch of keys and gets noticed only when darkness shows up at the wrong time. Compared with a big torch, it is more convenient and less serious; compared with a phone torch, it is often quicker to grab. The rechargeable part is practical, but it also means one more small thing to remember to charge.
