Bubble Slime is the sort of toy putty that matters most to children who want stretch, squish and a bit of mess on the table. By our assessment, its appeal is the texture: it can be pulled, pressed and folded in ways that normal slime fans already know well. The downside is just as familiar, because this kind of product can dry out, pick up dirt and lose its novelty fast. In practice it is more about short bursts of tactile play than anything lasting or structured, and that makes it easy to set down again. Bubble Slime sits squarely in the crowded slime shelf, where small differences in feel and colour do most of the work.
