Brompton Electric Bikes

Brompton Electric Bikes keep the folded-bike idea intact while adding a motor, battery, and the usual Brompton focus on compact storage. By our assessment, that makes them most appealing to commuters who care more about carrying the bike onto a train or into a flat than about outright speed. The trade-off is the familiar one for small-wheeled folders: the ride is practical and tidy, not plush, and the electric side adds charging and extra weight to manage. In use, the appeal is the neat package and the way the bike still behaves like a Brompton first, with assistance layered on top. Against full-size e-bikes, it gives up comfort and long-distance ease; against plain folders, it asks for more money and upkeep. The ceiling is set by the format itself, because compactness is doing the main job here.
